CEBARRIER.COM is a web site managed by GIVASA, SA in order to publicize in situ concrete barriers that have passed the corresponding audits to get CE mark according to EN 1317-5.
GIVASA. Our history:
GIVASA, SA was founded in October 1985 in Castellbisbal (province of Barcelona), with the aim of offering the study, development and realization of road safety works for new infrastructure and for the improvement and conservation of the existing ones.
It immediately began its activity in the public works sector, consisting of the supply and installation of semi-rigid or metallic safety barriers in the different Spanish roads.
Later, in 1995, it expanded its activity by incorporating the supply and installation of rigid or in situ concrete safety barriers in Spanish roads and the manufacture, supply and installation of definitive and provisional traffic signs.
By incorporating social responsibility policies, GIVASA, S.A. has managed to progress in a sustainable way, obtaining a continuous and profitable growth. This evolution has meant that the company is currently a reference both for different public administrations and for construction companies in terms of passive safety in their roads and works.
The experience of GIVASA, S.A. in the public works sector is backed by the work and capacity of its human team, made up of professionals working with appropriate resources to carry out their activity, with emphasis on the correct quality of the product and a good service.
In order to guarantee the quality of products, offered services and correct application of current legislation in the field of Occupational Risk Prevention, it possesses a quality and environmental management system, according to ISO-9001 and ISO-14001, respectively, for the following activities:
- Traffic signs and pedestrian rails
- Commercialization and installation of vehicle restraint systems
(metallic safety barrier, median barrier gate, motorcyclist protection systems, mixed steel and wood barriers and absorption systems)
- Commercialization of other traffic signs accessory items
(marking devices, speed reducers and lane delineators).
